LEADERSHIP
Since 1901, the board of trustees of the Farmington Village Green and Library Association have prudently managed the entities and funds assigned to them. As the economy waxed and waned over that century and now, their donations of time, talent and treasure ensured that the wishes of its benefactors were carried out effectively.
Today, these trustees dedicate themselves to being visionaries for the future, while being stewards of the past. The 40-member, self-appointed board is divided into committees, each with responsibility for one of the association’s entities. Funding for each entity is determined by the spending policy, collective experience and need.
Community-minded persons are considered for the FVGLA board of trustees each year.
