HOW TO HELP - Planning Your Gift
The Farmington Library, Barney Library, Stanley-Whitman House, the Village Green and Memento Mori Cemetery—each managed by the FVGLA—serve our community in important ways.
To enhance the lives of future generations these resources must endure. By planning your gift and supporting the endowment fund they’ll do just that. Only the interest income from the fund’s principal is spent each year. This allows the principal to grow and offers a stable financial base for the future.
Endowment gifts may be designated to the FVGLA and support all FVGLA entities according to spending policies and need.
Or, be designated to support a specific FVGLA entity (Farmington and Barney Libraries, Stanley-Whitman House, the Village Green, or Memento Mori Cemetery).
Contact the FVGLA to further discuss ways to give assets other than cash.
